Huge Sports Week

St. Louis vs. Cincinnati biggest series of the year. Sykes will just have to live with it no way I'm missing this. Friday, PV opens up against TN High. Time to see where we stand on both fronts. I'll either be as happy as the 40 year old virgin at the end of the movie or as sad as the 40 year old virgin at the start of the movie come Saturday.

Maybe for your Reds, but not in MLB. There is a 5 game stint between the Yanks and Sox at Fenway coming up that is considered a much bigger series.

Yep, definitely a big series as well. With the Bravos licking their wounds this year, I may have to pull for the upstart Cats a little this post season.

Tigers may have the best team in baseball right now but I dont see them winning the world series even though I would be happy if they did. If MLB has their way Boston or the Yankees will be in the World Series. Wish I could see Detroit on tv sometimes but it seems every time I turn on espn the yankees are playing the red sox, do they play each other 162 times a season? Yea, for me it is. True the Sox vs. Yanks is much bigger but 50% of the world loves either Boston or New York. No joke, I saw thing a couple weeks ago that said over half of all MLB merchandise sold was either Boston or New York. I personally hate them both, it's a shame Toronto had to fall of the face of the earth. At one point I was hoping we could have a playoffs without either one of them it's not possible now.

    Re: Huge Sports Week

I agree with you to a point. I get a little sick of it, but the BoSox were my favorite AL team growing up. Still way behind Dale and the Bravos though. I liked Boggs, Greenwell, and Clemens.

I guess the Reds really [censored] the old hound dog tonight.
